Landscape Photographer Of The Year 2021 - Commended

24th October 2021
I am delighted to have my image, 'City Lines’, commended in the Landscape Photographer Of The Year 2021. It will be part of the prestigious exhibition at London Bridge Station, running from November 15th 2021 to January 9th 2022.
My image will also appear in the awards book out on October 28th, Landscape Photographer of the Year – Collection 14, which is available on Amazon UK.

The Landscape Photographer of the Year competition was founded in 2006 by world famous photographer Charlie Waite, and is the holy grail of landscape photography in the UK. It attracts thousands of entries from professional and amateur photographers from around the globe, so to have been selected from over 30,000 images is a huge honour for me, and this is now my 5th success in this elite competition.

The image was taken from the top of the Shard and was a challenge to take. My camera was balanced on a small bean bag on the floor, with my camera pressed against the safety glass. I had to shroud light reflection with my hands and wait for trains to pass so it would complete the scene.
